Through our charitable arm we have been giving back to schools across New Zealand since 2009.

We are a Charity with two main purposes:

1. Providing sports equipment to students across different sports in schools in high deprivation suburbs nation wide.

2. For those same students we raise funds to assist them with their tournament and exchange fees/costs each year.

To help raise funds to achieve our purposes we run events like movie nights and auctions, golf days, and take youth sports teams overseas with top educators and ambassadors including former NZ Sportspeople.

Our Impact by the Numbers:

  • $900,000 RRP OF ITEMS DONATED

  • 6000 ITEMS DELIVERED TO STUDENTS

  • HIGH DEPRIVATION SUBURBS SERVICED ACROSS AOTEAROA

Organisations we have supported on our journey since 2009 include, but are not limited to  Northland Rugby for Life Foundation, Nga Iwi School, Equippers Church Otahuhu, Fiji Hockey, Manurewa High School, James Cook High School, Southern Cross Campus, Tangaroa College, Ardmore Marist Rugby, Murupara Area School, Chesters Plumbing sticks for schools programme, In Zone Foundation.

If you are a supplier of sports equipment and would like to support us with products OR you are a School Principal or sports coordinator in suburbs noted above who would like to remove barriers to help your students get involved in sport please contact us via email at nzschoolsallstarsct@gmail.com

About Our Exchanges:

Our sports exchanges are user pay events  for individuals, club teams, school teams, private groups, where we only collect an administration fee to cover coach /ambassador costs, exchange organisation costs, tournament entry fees, umpiring, turf hire, first aid, uniforms, etc. The administration fees sit between $250 and $500 max depending on where we are heading internally or overseas. If you live in a high deprivation suburb of NZ the trust will waive your admin fee and cover it out of our funds raised.

We have established contacts in Europe, Aus, Fiji, Japan, USA and India to organise the right level of competition.

Families arrange and pay for their own accomodation, airfares and travel insurance, taking full advantage of individual deals and airpoints, etc. All travelling players must be accompanied by  one chaperone parent and or guardian in case of a pandemic. All participating players must complete consent, medical consent, swimming  consent and pandemic refund forms before traveling on an exchange. We make available our RAMs forms for parents to review before we travel for those times players are in our care on the exchange.

All coaches, ambassadors, that accompany our teams will be quality  teachers or former NZ Representative sportspersons who are police vetted and experienced in dealing with young people.

Deposit admin fees are non-refundable and cover our fixed costs noted above.

All of our exchanges have more than the sport element to them, with philanthropic activities, not limited to team building, sightseeing coaching clinics, meals with hosts, parent-team dinner and quiz built in.

If your team would like to represent us on an exchange please contact us at nzschoolsallstarsct@gmail.com

What recipients of our charity say about us:

We would sincerely like to thank the NZ Schools Allstars Charitable Trust for the generous donation of sports shoes and gear bags to our school and community. The items were well received by our students and community and will be invaluable to our participation in future sports days.We can not thank you enough for your generous donation.

-Nga Iwi School

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of Rugby for Life Charitable Trust, to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the NZ Schools Allstars Charitable Trust for providing us with twenty pairs of shoes.

In our Rugby for Life Communites which our Coordinators do their mahi, there are a lot of challenges that they face with economic and financial hardship, being one of these.

To have the support of your Trust and to provide these shoes at no cost for our tamariki and rangatahi in Te Tai Tokerau, this gesture or hand up for them, provides an invaluable tool as part of their health and wellbeing and will assist them in not only being able to move or train, but with winter upon us, shoes are an important part of keeping warm and dry.

Thank you again as it is very much appreciated.
